Maybelline’s ‘Maybe It’s My Stage’ Festive Express Brings Music and Glam to Kolkata, Delhi
Maybelline New York takes its “Maybe It’s My Stage” festive experience to Kolkata and Delhi, featuring Temsu Clover and Rashmeet Kaur, live music, Diwali celebrations and a real-world test of its Super Stay Vinyl Ink Mithai Collection.
Rooted in the festive energy of each city, “Maybe It’s My Stage: The Festive Edition” brings together music, makeup and self-expression, encouraging participants to experiment with their looks, embrace their individuality and take the spotlight. As India enters one of its most vibrant and culturally rich seasons, the initiative features prominent names from the country’s music scene in intimate, curated cultural experiences designed to bring audiences closer to live music, beauty and culture.
Adding to the celebrations, the Maybelline New York Festive Express made its India debut, introducing a New York-inspired experience to the country’s festive calendar. The journey began in Kolkata, where Pujo is deeply connected with the city’s cultural identity and brings communities together in celebration.
The Kolkata edition of “Maybe It’s My Stage: The Festive Edition” incorporated Pujo-inspired elements into its setting, reflecting the city’s festive atmosphere. The intimate format brought audiences closer to the music and performer, with Temsu Clover taking the stage for a live performance.
Known for her indie and soul-pop sound, Temsu Clover has built a growing repertoire that includes tracks such as “Blue,” “Cry fr You,” “Antidote” and “Slide.” The event also gave her superfans an opportunity to meet the artist up close, adding a personal dimension to the evening through music, fan engagement and shared experiences.
The Maybelline New York Festive Express then moved to Delhi for a Diwali-themed celebration, where the festivities continued with music, beauty and interactive activities. With attendees dressed for the occasion, the event brought together the festive spirit and the brand’s focus on self-expression.
Singer Rashmeet Kaur took the stage with a performance showcasing her genre-blending sound, which combines Punjabi folk with pop and electronic influences. She performed popular tracks including “Nadiyon Paar,” “Bajre Da Sitta” and “Ghana Kasoota,” while also sharing the stories behind her music.
Rashmeet Kaur further engaged with fans by selecting Mithai lipstick shades for them and recalling some of her favourite Diwali memories. Away from the stage, attendees participated in rounds of mahjong and card games, competing for Maybelline goodies as the celebrations continued.
At both the Kolkata and Delhi events, Maybelline New York put its Super Stay Vinyl Ink Mithai Collection to the test in festive settings. Guests sampled puchkas and other festive treats while dancing, singing, laughing and expressing themselves. Throughout the activities, the lipstick was presented as maintaining its appearance through eating, movement and extended celebrations.
The festive indulgences and high-energy performances provided a practical test of the collection as attendees moved between food, music and interactive experiences. The brand positioned the lipstick collection as suited to the demands of festive occasions, where makeup is expected to keep pace with a range of activities.
At the centre of the festive edition is Maybelline New York’s belief that there is a stage for every version of an individual, across different moods, music genres and cities. The brand plans to continue the Festive Express journey, extending the “Maybe It’s My Stage” experience through further celebrations focused on music, beauty and self-expression.
With two cities covered and more stages planned, the festive initiative is set to continue bringing together live entertainment, beauty experiences and cultural celebrations as Maybelline New York expands the campaign across India’s festive season.
